DEATH OF WELL KNOWN COAST SOLICITOR.

(Special to the “Star.”) GREYMOUTII, July 6. The death occurred at eleven o’clock last night in the Grey River Hospital following an operation of Mr William Joseph Joyce, barrister, one of the best and most widely known West Coasters, aged sixty. Born in Greymouth, he was the eldest son of Mrs Honora Mary Joyce, of Murray Street. Mr Joyce was admitted as a solicitor in 1892, and had practised his profession in Greymouth ever since. He leaves a widow and three sons, Gerald and Percy (Greymouth), and William Joseph (North Island), and two sisters, Mrs MTnroe and Mrs D. Cameron (Greymouth)j
