MAIN TRUNK TERMINUS.
Members of the Railway Board yesterday paid a visit to Clifford Bay, which has been suggested as the best terminal port for the South Island Main Trunk system. It is stated that ferries would be able to make the trip across to Wellington in less than two. hours. The bay, which is well sheltered, is four miles north of Cape Campbell.
