COUNCIL AT HASTINGS PREPARES FOR SCHEME.

HASTINGS, June 26. At the suggestion of Mr J. Mawson, town planner, the Hastings Council last evening adopted a resolution in anticipation of the preparation and approval of a town-planning scheme. The resolution limits bttildings to 60ft in height, with a maximum of four storeys. It makes compulsory provision for light and air space and includes other formal regulations.
