PLAZA HAS “MILLIE.”
A tragically dramatic story is unfolded in “Millie,” the outstanding film which is being screened at the Plaza Theatre. With Helen Twelvetrees in the principal role the film should prove exceedingly popular with all who are fond of emotional acting. It is bused on a woman’s great sacrifice to save her child from disgrace. Though acted with great dramatic force, the picture is not lacking in humorous touches, and the tenseness of some of the emotional scenes Is relieved by flashes of bright comedy provided by two schoolgirl friends of Millie. In keeping with the high quality of the principal picture, the supporting programme consists of several excellent Tdctpres. George Sidney and. Charles Murray are seen in .two reels of hilarious comedy, and" the other films comprise “Humanette” fa novel production;, a clever cartoon and an interesting news reel.
