GOLDEN WEDDING.
The golden wedding of Mr and Mrs Robert Billens was celebrated at Dixieland on Saturday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Billens arrived in New Zealand in 1859 and 1877 respectively. The guests present were:—The bride and bridegroom (Mr and Mrs Robert Billens), the bridesmaid (Mrs W. T. Billens), Mr and Airs Hugh B. Billens. Mr and Airs T. L. Low, Air and Airs William Rolton, Mr and Airs Fred Bull, Mr David Brabner. Airs Christopher, Mr and Mrs Alf Billens, Air and Mrs R. D. Adams, Air and Mrs George Lawrence, Airs ‘ Aluff. Mrs Moore, Air J. .B. Park, Air William Bull, Alisses Rona and Edna Billens. Hilda Thomson, Ethel Wright. Mary Crosbie, Alargaret Templeton and Gwen Alerfiekl, Alasters Robert, Billy and Bruce Rolton.
