“ Worn-out Allied Troops had Detrimental Effect on U.S. Men.”

World War,” is causing considerable controversy. It contains such references as: " The Allied man power rapidly dwindled to a dangerous degree and its morale almost reached breaking point. Training with worn-out British and French troops had a detrimental effect on our men.” The "Morning Post ” says that such passages are not merely not generous, but also are demonstrably unfair. press witnout comment, reproduces a map which reveals that British and French Divisions alone held the sector, where the Hindenburg Line was severed in September, 1918, which virtually ended the war.
