MR CHICHESTER IS LIKE AN OYSTER.

FLIGHT TO ENGLAND OVER NEW ROUTE IS PLANNED. (United Press Assn.—By Electrlo Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received June 20, 12 noon.) SYDNEY, June 20. The “Labour Daily” says that although Mr Chichester will neither confirm nor deny the report, it was learnt yesterday that he intended to open up a new field of aviation by flying from Australia to England via Dutch New Guinea. When interviewed the New Zealand airman said that he had made no final arrangements for any flight. Asked if there was any truth in the I suggestion that he would fly over New Guinea he replied, “If you say so, it must be true.” It is known that Mr Chichester has been in close consultation with Sydney officials regarding his next flight and, according to a Sydney firm, the matter in all probability will be finalised to-day. The newspaper adds that as a subject for an interview the Dominion aviator can certainly be likened unto the proverbial oyster.
