ASHBURTON HIGH SCHOOL OLD BOYS’ ANNUAL DANCE

The Country Club, Deans Avenue, was the scene of an enjoyable dance last evening, when the Ashburton High School Old Boys Association held their annual dance. The committee responsible for the arrangements, which contributed to the success of the dance, comprised:—Messrs J. Lane, I. Bolton’, R. Robilliard, E. Fooks, and Miss Marjorie Gudsell.

Those present were:—Mesdames W. S. Morrison, Sadler, E. C. Gough, Alan Robilliard, W. M. Wilson and Rigby; Misses Martin, Frances Becroft, Cynthia Wood, Ethel Thomas, Colleen Costello, Betty Pritchard, Olga Smith, Rewa Campbell, Mae Millington, Mabel Gudsell, and Peggy Morton; Messrs I. Bolton, Gordon Morrison, Selby, Pulley, W. Matthews, L. Penny, O. Evans, W. E. Bonnington, D. G. Garrett, Fraser, J. O. Jamieson, Jeff Olliver, J. Lawlor and J. Lane.
