THE COMING TEST.

There axe still two matches to be completed by the touring New Zealand cricketers before they take part in the chief event of the tour—the test match. At the present time they are at Gainsborough, where they will have a three-day fixture against the Minor Counties. To-morrow, Monday and Tuesday will see them at Peterborough, while the next three days are reserved and will probably be devoted to a well-earned rest. The itinerary of the tour is a most tiring one, necessitating much travelling, as well as almost continual play, and a brief spell will doubtless be greatly welcomed. Following the spell the New Zealanders will proceed to Lord’s, where the test match will be played on June 27, 29 and 30.
