HUBERT CARTER RECITAL.

To-morrow evening at S o’clock Hubert Carter, the eminent tenor, will present in the Radiant Hall his second recital in Christchurch. Great interest has been aroused in this event, which should be an outstanding one, as there will be heard a programme calculated to please all musical tastes and one which covers the widest range. Mr Carter’s items will call ■'forth all his powers and display those qualities that have won the encomiums of the Press in the British Isles, Australia and Kew Zealand. Assisting Mr Carter will be Mr Ernest Ernpson, whose brilliant playing is so well known, and who will be heard in groups of pianoforte solos. The very important work of playing the accompaniments for a programme of this nature will be in the capable hands of Miss Lillian Harper. The box plan is now open at The Bristol Piano Co., Ltd.
