Mrs J. M’Laughlin, Dunedin, is visiting her mother, Mrs T. Sheen, Temuka. Miss Macgregor, India, is the guest of Mrs A. Barker, Winchester. Mrs P. N. Quartermain, of Christchurch, is visiting Auckland. Mr and Mrs IT. J. Ballin, Leinster Road, have returned home after a visit to the North Island. Guests at Warner’s Hotel include Mr and Mrs W. F. Diedrichs (Kokatahu).

Mrs F. Trent, who has been visiting Mrs J. F. Havhurst, Temuka, has returned to Christchurch.

Mrs A. Campbell, who has been the guest of Mrs P. W. Campbell, Temuka, has returned to Christchurch.

Mr and Mrs F. J. Tait, St Albans, left yesterday for a holiday visit to the south.

Mr Vivian Riddiford and Miss Pamela Riddiford, “ Woburn,” Lower Hutt, will leave shortly for a trip to Honolulu.

Mrs Bede Lough nan and her small son, Fendalton, will leave to-morrow to visit Mrs Otto Richards, Albury, South Canterbury'. Mr and Mrs E. E. Gough and their two children, Matson’s Road, Papanui, will leave by the Rangitikei from Wellington on Saturday, for England.

Mr and Mrs D. Stowell (Timaru), Mrs IT. ITall (Wellington), and Miss Yarr (Timaru) are guests at the United Service Hotel.

Mrs B. C. Rutherford, who is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs G. C. Derrett, “Mill Farm,” Hororata, will return to Wellington this week.

Mrs J. Mowbray Tripp and Miss P e ggy Williams, ■“ Silverton,” Orari, are visiting Christchurch and are staying at Warwick House.

Miss N. Reed, Opawa, Miss E. Crawshaw, Miss M. Wake and Miss M. Scott, Fendalton, will leave to-morrow for Arthur’s Pass to spend a fortnight at Miss Reed’s house. Mrs R. W. Steele, Auckland, is visiting her brothers, Mr H. H. Thorne
