TWO BRITISH TALKIES.

Two outstanding British feature films : from the studios of British International Pictures, are presented at the Majestic to-day. Heading the attractive programme is “The Man From Chicago, ’ a particularly thrilling production which created a sensation when presented in London early this year. An cast, including Bernard Nedell, Albert Whelan, Dodo Watts and Joyce Kennedy, make this picture an outstanding production in more ways than one. The “Daily Mail” savs:— An outstanding performance is ‘contributed by Bernard Nedell in the title role, and it is because of his clever and polished characterisation that the picture’s suspense and dramatic interest is held throughout. Nedell is an asset to the talking screen and should be prominent in future British talkies. This production carries an attractive title and is thrilling. dramatic entertainment. These two things, allied to the fact that it is a British film, will ensure its success everywhere.” Leslie Fuller, the inimitable London comedian of “Not So Quiet on the Western Front,” is the star in another of British International Pictures’ sparkling comedies, “Kiss Me, Sergeant,” a typical British “Tommy” story that is responsible fer much mirth and merriAltogether the programme la one of outstanding entertainment value and should attract crowded houses at the popular Majestic Theatre.
