The annual golf match for the Seadon Cup between Greymouth and Hokitika was played on the Mahinapua links yesterday and resulted in a win for Greymouth by 16 games to 8. The Buller Golf Club had a successful tournament yesterday, players from Reef ton. Westport and Karamea competing. The links were in good order. Tn a match for the ladies’ shield ' West Coast Challenge Shield) Buller held the trophy against Reefton (challengers) by 19 points. The scores were;—Duller—Mrs Slee 90. Mrs Bird •6, Mrs Mullan 111, Mrs Dutlife lif,. Reefton—Mrs Instone 101, Mrs Patterson 105, Mrs Sharpe 112, Mrs Gore Porter 114. The eclectic match resulted In a tie between Mesdames Patterson (Reefton) and Bird (Buller) 36.
