NOTE FORGERY CASE IN AUCKLAND COURT.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Alay 21. Evidence is being heard in the Police Court to-day against Percy Short, aged 56 years, Percy John M’Kenzie Short, aged 20, Harry Torpy, aged 46, and Maurice Goodman, aged 33, on charges connected with the circulation of counterfeit Bank of New South Wales pound notes. The early witnesses were all shopkeepers who had cashed the notes. (A report of a case heard yesterday appears on page 1.)
