MEMORIALS UNVEILED AT BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL.

This afternoon, old boys of the Christchurch Boys’ High School, which is at present celebrating its jubilee, were the guests of the Board of Governors at the new school grounds, where a memorial tablet commemorating the event was unveiled by Mrs Bevan-Brown, and a memorial beech was planted by Mr B. K. S. Lawrence, the only surviving member of the original staff. During the afternoon the new school 1 lag was unfurled by' the headmaster (Mr G. J. Lancaster).

One of the features of the afternoon was the calling of the roll of old boys in decades, and a demonstration of physical drill by the boys.
