EASTER HOLIDAYS.
LIST OF ATTRACTIONS. As In former years, a large and varied programme of sporting fixtures and entertainments has been arranged for the Easter holiday season in Christchurch and throughout the province. 'Of the most importance, perhaps, will be the Canterbury Jockey Club's and Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meetings. Bowling, tennis and golf tournaments will be held, each occupying at least three days. Several athletic clubs will conduct their annual fixtures during the holidays, and some of the best athletes and cyclists in the province will compete. Styx Gun Club—Opening shoot. Saturday, April 4. Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington. Canterbury Bowling Centre’s tournament. Wilding Park—Open and handicap lawn tennis tournament. Kaiapoi—Athletic sports meeting. Oust—Athletic sports meeting. English Park —Soccer matches. Shirley Golf Links—Annual Easter tournament. Akaroa—Outboard regatta. Civic Theatre—Pictures. Crystal Palace—Pictures. Everybody’s—Pictures. Grand—Silent Pictures. Liberty—Pictures. Majestic—Pictures. Regent—Pictures. St James’—Pictures. \ The Plaza —Pictures. Theatre Royal—Picture??.
