LONDON, March 20. iJndrum. in his match with Newman, started magnificently. His second innings reached 1163, and later he scored 1078, creating a record by scoring more than 1000 in each session on the opening day of the match. He closed with a break of 801 unfinished, aggregating 3042. Newman’s score was nil.
