Messra K- R. Owen, G. P. Purnell ami P. (rowther, representing the Port Christchurch League, were a deputation to the meeting of the Ufiited Burgesses Association last evening to asl-c for its co-operation. The members of the deputation addressed the meeting at length and were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
