GOLF.

HAGLEY CLUB. Owing to the holidays and Easter Tournament at Shirley, the formal opening at Hagley and the four-ball bogey handicap competition for the Opening Day Cup will not take place till April 11. Players will arrange their own partners and opponents and starting times after midday. The links, however, will be open for play on April 4, and, in order to proyide for members who are not engaged elsewhere informal, post entry matches have been arranged.

The afternoon match is a mixed fourball bogey. Although the greens will not be available for play till Saturday the fairways are now open for practice.
