WHERE FACTIONS CLASH ON SIGHT.
CAWNPORE IS INDIA’S MOST UNHEALTHY CITY. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received March 30, 9 a.m.) DELHI, March 29. Cawnpore is India’s most unhealthy city at the moment. Besides the casualties already reported, numbers of dead and injured have not been reported. The streets are full of garbage, and the conservancy system has broken down. Serious epidemics are feared. Sporadic attacks continue, Hindus and Moslems clashing at sight regardless of age, sex or time. The police and troops fire on both parties.
