ALTERNATIVE OFFERED TO SALARY TAXATION.
(United Press Assn .By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received March 25, 9.25 a.m ) SYDNEY, March 25. As an alternative to his proposed salary taxation, the Federal Public Service unions have informed Mr Scullin that they are prepared to recommend members to accept, as from April 1, an annual cost of living variation. This will involve a reduction of about seven shillings weekly, operative from July 1.
