CHARGE OF NEGLIGENT DRIVING IS WITHDRAWN
James Inkster, 76, Sandwich Road, Beckenham (Mr Thomas) appeared before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., this morning. charged that, on October 8, 1930, at Christchurch, he negligently drove a motor-cycle in Colombo Street. On the application of Sergeant Hyland the charge was withdrawn. The case had previously been before the Supreme Court following a fatal accident, but the Grand Jury brought in no bill-
