DARDANELLES TRAFFIC AFFECTED BY DUMPING.

The report-of the Straits Commission, which is being submitted to the League of Nations, reveals that the Soviet, when dumping, was responsible for an increase of 40 per cent in the tonnage traversing the Dardanelles in 1930, as compared with 1929. The Russian naval strength in the Black Sea is now fifty-four units and twenty-one seaplanes.
