FRIDAY TO BE THE SCOUTS’ GREAT DAY

(Received March 17, 10.10 a.m.) • SYDNEY, March 17.

The Marama, with Lord BaaenPowell aboard, arrived at the Heads at 7 o’clock. She was to berth an hour later, when the Chief Scout would be met informally by leading Scout officials and motored direct to Government House, where he and Lady Baden-Powell will be guests during their stay. Members of the council of control and the Scout Commissioner will call on the Chief. The rest of the day will be free. Friday will be the Scouts’ great day. Contingents are arriving from all parts of the State.
