SUB-ASSOCIATIONS- SHIELD. The Christchurch Suburban cricket team was victorious in its match against Malvern, completed at Hagley Park today. This match was the final one for the Sub-Association’s Shield, which lias fallen into Christchurch's hands for the first time since 1922. When stumps were drawn on Wednesday Suburban had a lead of 234 runs. Malvern found the bowling of Sincock and Mills a difficult proposition and the side was dismissed for 156 runs.
