CAMPERS HOLD ANNUAL SPORTS AT PINES BEACH.

The annual sports organised by the residents at the Pines Beach, Kaiapoi, were held on Tuesday evening, over 300 campers and their friends attending. Prizes were donated for the various events, the children being especially catered for. At the conclusion of the sports programme, an enjoyable dance was held ip the Social Hall. Results of the sports events were:— Girls, five to six years—E. Fitzsimmons 1, J. Featherstone 2. Seven to eight years—V. Brown 1. N. Stark 2. Nine to ten years—B. Varcoe 1, N. Chaney 2.
