Admitted to hospital last night, Thomas William Swell, aged t wenty--three, a single man who was found unconscious on the Main South Road at Fairfield with his motor-cycle lying nearby, failed to regain consciousness, and he died at 6.50 this morning. Swell had sustained severe head injuries, and the position of the machine suggested that he had been thrown heavily.
