Company has decided that the two ships of being built for the company's Australian passenger and mail service, shall be not only distinctive in name from the existing vessels of the fleet, but that they shall also be distinctive in appearance. The two vessels, the Strathnover and Strathaird, are to have buff funnels, white upper works, white hulls from rail to waterline, and red boottopping. The lifeboats and launches are also to be painted white. The Strathnaver is expected to be ready for sea next autumn, and is to be followed by + he Strathaird towards the end of 3 931.
