CIVIC THEATRE SHOWS HIGHLY DRAMATIC FILM
To-day will commence the screening at the Civic Theatre of “ Her Unborn Child,” a picture which has been adapted from the stage play of the same name, which has, during the past ten years, played in seventeen countries. This is in itself somewhat of a record, but the film bids fair to beat the record of the play. “ Her Unborn Child ” was produced by Windsor Picture Plays, Inc., and has a cast of legitimate stage celebrities. As a play, it was something of a sensation, and for talking picture patrons it offer's one of the strongest stories ever selected for films. Delicately, even beautifully handled through competent direction and a superb cast of finished artists, the picture carries a note of human appeal seldom achieved on stage or screen. That the picture has the support of the community wherever it has been shown is demonstrated by the hundreds of letters received by the theatre managements. The film will have a limited season at the Civic, and patrons are requested to reserve their seats at The Bristol. The plans will be at the Civic from ten o’clock this morning. There will he an excellent supporting programme, including a Mickey Mouse Cartoon.
