OPEN-AIR CONCERT IN HOSPITAL GROUNDS.

Leading city bands and the Royal Christchurch Musical Society will provide the programme at the concert to be held in the gardens of the Christchurch Hospital to-morrow afternoon. The Musical Society will be accompanied by an orchestra of nearly 200 performers. Selections will be given from Handel’s oratorio “ The Messiah,” and the opera “ Cavalleria Rusticana.” The concert will mark the finale of the Rotary Club’s Christmas appeal.
