DECLARES POSITION IN AUSTRALIA RIDICULOUS

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received December 20, 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, December 20. The acting-Prime Minister, Mr J. E. Fenton, said that he thought Australia had too many judges. There were Federal Courts, State Courts and Public Service arbitrators. It was ridiculous. Mr Fenton made these remarks after referring to the appointments of Dr Evatt' and Mr MTiernan to the High Court. Their published careers spoke for themselves, he said.
