It is hoped to despatch the vessel for Dun-

edin this evening, but it is doubtful whether she will be able to put out her cargo in time. The vessel is expected to return here from the south on December 22 to load for Wellington and Auckland. HOLMDALE, from Dunedin, via Oamaru and Timaru, is due here on Sunday, to load the following day for Wellington and "Wanganui. JOHN, due here to-morrow from Timaru, will load for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato. HIMATANGI, with cement from Tarakohe, is due here to-morrow. On completing unloading she will take in cargo for Nelson, Westport and mouthCALM was timed to sail from Wellington last night. In view of the weather conditions it is not expected that she will arrive at Lyttelton before . to-morrow. STORM was timed to leave Wellington last night for Dunedin direct. The vessel is dye here on Friday or Saturday, to load for Wellington and Wanganui. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. CANADIAN VICTOR was despatched from Auckland yesterday afternoon for Wellington. The vessel is expected here ou December 23 to continue unloading of Montreal cargo. SOLNA, a tanker, from Balik Papan, left Dunedin yesterday for Auckland. WAIKAWA, from Los Angeles, is expected at Lyttelton on December 21, via Napier. Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth are the vessel’s next ports of discharge. WAIOTAPU arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Los Angeles, via Auckland. The vessel is expected to sail for Melbourne to-day. GOLDEN COAST is at present at Gisborne, loading frozen meat for Honolulu. She should make her departure from Gisborne to-day. OTOKIA, which left San Pedro on December 1 for Wellington, is due at her destination on December 25. POOLTA is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Grafton, via Port Stephens and Newcastle. Wellington, New Plymouth and Greymouth are the vessel’s next ports of discharge. OVERSEAS SHIPPING. TURAKINA is expected to leave Bluff to-day for New Plymouth. The vessel will also load at Wellington and Auckland. To leave Auckland on December 30 for London and West of England ports.
