LATE PERSONAL.
MINISTERIAL. The Hon E. A. Ransom, acting-Prime Minister, who has spent a fortnight at his home at Dannevirke, recovering from the effects of an illness, will return to Wellington to-day to resume his official duties at Parliament House. The Hon A. J. Murdoch, Minister for Agriculture, travelled to Invercargill to-day to attend the Agricultural and Pastoral Show there. lie is expected to return to Wellington about Friday. Mr John Bowen (Sydney) is staying at the Clarendon Hotel. \ Messrs 11. and R. Hill, F. and J. Clark, and E. Carney arrived from the north this morning. Mr V. E. Hamilton, president of the Canterbury Employers’ Association, left by last night’s ferry steamer on a visit to Wellington and Auckland. Messrs R. Carr, H. A. Champion, A. V. Moulton, C. L. Hughes, T. S. Du.!<e, F. Leonard, S. Brice, O. Sommer, B. Beyer, C. G. Prevost, IT. E. Kirby, C. Topping, P. Farvaeque (Wellington) and R. V. Tait are guests at the United Service Hotel. Messrs A. Cornelius, W. Yanraft, S. P. Warburton, G. T. Robinson. J. A. Parker, G. W. Cockroft (Wellington) E. W. Denny and H. F. W. Brown (Dunedin) and I. S. Brooksbank (London) are recent arrivals at Warner's Hotel.
