TREASURE CHEST IN CITY OF POMPEII.
VALUABLE JEWELLERY FOUND IN CASKET.

A treasure chest containing a remarkable collection of jewels has been found in the Villa de Labbondanza, Pompeii, including bracelets, earrings and a silver dinner service in an excellent state of preservation. The estimated value of the find, is £500,000.
