FIRMS’ MATCH. A cricket match between Beath and Co. and Hallenstein Bros, was played at St Albans Park on Saturday. Hallenstein Bros, won the toss and compiled 36 (Cunningham 11, Kinsman 8). Beath and Co. scored 61 (Duncan 20, Stanley 10, Jackson 7). Bowling for Hallenstein Bros., Cunningham took three wickets for 21 runs. Kinsman three for 17 and Plumber three for 5. For Beath and Co., T. Stanley took six for 11, G. Duncan two for 20 and C. Murray 2 for 2.
