JAPAN BUYING COMPLETE ENGLISH COTTON MILLS. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received December 8, 11.30 a.m.) PERTH, December 8. Mr Floyd, a passenger in the liner Bendigo, states that, as a result of the Government s failure to prevent the dumping of foreign cotton goods, Japanese interests are buying complete English mills for re-erection in the Far East. They are able to purchase the looms. at about one-third their value, and with cheap production costs a fresh menace will soon face the Western industrial world.
