MOTOR-CYCLIST RODE AT DANGEROUS SPEED. “You ought to be sentenced to be hanged,” was a remark passed by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning to Montague Hamilton, a young man who made a voluntary appearance in the Traffic Court He was charged with riding a motorcycle at a dangerous speed in Barrington Street, riding without lights, and having a noisy exhaust on his motorC3 r cle. “You young fellows who ride along making nuisances of yourselves to innocent people—invalids and the like—have absolutely no consideration,” he added in fining the defendant £2 and costs for driving at a dangerous speed, and 30s and costs for having a noisy exhaust. For having no light? Hamilton was convicted and discharged.
