Chief Justice, Sir Isaac Isaacs, Will Succeed Lord Stonehaven.
(United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received December 3, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, December 2. His Majesty, on Mr Scullin’s recommendation, has appointed Sir Isaac Alfred Isaacs, Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, Governor-General in succession to Lord Stonehaven.
The date at which Sir Isaac will assume office is being announced later.
