The Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe entertained at an afternoon party at Government House, Wellington. yesterday, nearly a thousand guests, consisting of Government and municipal emplovces and their wives. This was the first of a number of similar gatherings at Wellington which their Excellencies hope to be able to arrange during their stay in New Zealand.
