LAWRENCE TIBBETT IS STAR IN “ ROGUE SONG.”

The welding of music to an action song, always difficult, has been accomplished with success in “ The Rogue Song,” now showing at the Theatre Royal. Lawrence Tibbett's splendid baritone voice has made the task easier. The singer appears in the picture as Yegor, a bandit chief, whose love of danger and a princess fair forms the basis of the plot. “The Rogue Song” marks another step along the road to technical perfection in colour photography. Sharpness of definition has not been lost, and so it has been possible in this picture to present the striking ballet scenes with all the beautv and colour of a stage setting. The supporting pictures include an interesting world news reel, a vocal melody and an amusing comedy.
