PENSIONS APPEAL BOARD CONCLUDES SITTING.

The War Pensions Appeal Board, which has been sitting in Christchurch since October 20 last, concluded its session here yesterday', and the chairman, Sir Walter Stringer, left for the north last evening. In all, fifty cases were dealt with, in thirty-two of which the secretary of the Christchurch branch of the R.S.A. (Mr E. F. Willcox) appeared as advocate. Twenty of these cases were upheld, four were deferred for consideration, and eight were dismissed.
