WORLD S LARGEST METAL FLYING-BOAT TESTED.

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, November 28. The largest and fastest all-metal military monoplane flying-boat, named the Sydney type, sixty-five feet long, with 3 wing span of 100 feet and accommodation for sixteen persons, has been successfully tested at the Blackburn works. The machine, which has an effective range of 1000 miles, is fitted with engines developing 1500 horsepower and a speed of 120 miles an hour. The monoplane will be used for reconnaissance.
