TO-DAY’S RECIPE. SAVOURY CHICKET. Ingredients:— Four ounces of cooked chiclce Two ounces of cooked ham. Six rashers of bacon. Two mushrooms. One gill of white sauce. One egg yolk. Chop the chicken, ham and mushrooms, and mix well. Add the mixture to the white sauce, with salt, pepper, and the egg yolk. When the mixture is quite hot, remove from the fire to cool, and form into little rolls. Wrap each in a rasher, dip in batter, and fry till a nice golden brown Drain and serve on a dish covered with a paper napkin.
