INQUEST ON CHILD DROWNED IN SEA.

A verdict that Alexander Griffiths Graham, aged six and a half years, was accidentally drowned in the sea at Redcliffs on October 17, was returned by the Coroner, Mr E. D. Mosley, at an inquest held yesterday afternoon. Constable Hampton represented the police. Joseph Graham, father of the child, and residing at Estuary Road. Red-

cliffs, gave evidence of identification. His wife had missed the child at 1.30 p.m., and had searched until 4 o’clock without success. Mrs Alice Bradley, who resides in Estuary Road, half a mile from Graham’s, described how she found the child on the beach at the back of her house, where it had evidently been washed up by the tide She had informed Constable Hampton.
