£30,000 DAMAGE DONE BY FIRE IN SYDNEY.
BIG BLAZE OCCURS IN DANGER AREA. (United Press Assn.—By Electrlo Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November IS, 9.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, November IS. Wilmot Buildings in the city were destroyed by fire early this morning. The damage is estimated at £30,000. In the rear of the building, within a few feet of the flames, was a stock of ammonia. The building was situated in one of Sydney’s worst danger areas, and firemen from city and suburban brigades did good work in preventing the flames from spreading.
