CABARET DANCE HELD TO AID NAZARETH HOUSE

The orphans and old people of Nazareth House should spend a very happy Christmas as a result of the Cabaret held last night in the Winter Garden. Organised to provide Christmas luxuries by a strong committee, comprising Lady Clifford, Lady Ward, Mesdames Alfred Bunz, C. R. Kiver, Misses M. Enright (hon sec), Ilalmai Loughnan, Messrs P. P. J. Amodeo, L. P. Barrett and J. Murray the ball was a great success. Later arrivals were forced to find seating accommodation on the steps of the alcoves, all of which were, filled to capacity. A pretty pas deux danced by Miss Rona Vaughan and Miss Jessie Dickson, who wore Betty blue and white costumes, was loudly applauded. The Bailey-Marston orchestra supplied the music. Lady Ward wore a black fisher-net frock, with long pointed skirt, mounted on black satin with a floral appliqued motif at the hips. Mrs Alfred Bunz wore a long georgette frock of marine blue with an overdress of blue lace, delicately traced m pale gold; a long pointed panel' of pale gold georgette fell from a blue hip posy. Miss Mary Enright’s frock was of lime yellow georgette, with long flared panels, the bodice being beaded in silver. Miss Ilalmai Loughnan wore a long floral chiffon frock patterned in apricot, blue demon on a darker blue ground, the circular coatee being edged with a pleated frill. Others dancing were: Mesdames E.
