Dr and Mrs W. 11. Unwin and Mr and Mrs J. Parry (Timaru) are staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Miss Clarice Heron, Oamaru, is visiting relatives at Mount Pleasant, Little Rakaia. Dr Ada Patterson arrived from Wellington by the ferry steamer yesterday morning. Dr and Mrs R. W. Anderson have returned from a visit to The Lodge, Ilanmer Springs. Mrs R. P. Fish, Silverstream, is staying with her mother, Mrs J. B. Norris, Glandovey Road, Fendalton. Miss Mollie Chapman, Knowles Street, will leave to-morrow to be the guest of Mrs W. D. Napier, Te Kiteroa, Waimate. Mrs Melville Jameson, who, with Mr Jameson, returned last week from England, is the guest of Mrs J. B. Beckett, “Almora.” Miss Letty Williams, Dunedin, who has been visiting friends in Christchurch for some time, will return home early next week. Mrs J. K. Case (New York), Mrs M. Macfarlane (Culverden), Mrs M. Bethell (Pahau Pastures) and Mrs H. T. Little, Miss M. Little and Miss R. Little (Hawarden) are guests at Warner’s Hotel. Mr and Mrs Allan Copeland and Miss Mildred Kresse are leaving Sydney on Thursday, arriving in Auckland early next w T eek. They will later come to Christchurch.
