Special excursion tickets to Timaru Racecourse, available for return from Timaru up to 20th October, also avail: able Racecourse to Timaru on day of issue by special trains at fares which include 2s for Course admission, will be issued as follows: From Christchurch, 25s 9d Ist class, 18s 6d 2nd class; Addington, 25s 8d and 18s sd; Sockburn, 2os and 17s lid; Hornby, 24s 5d and 17s 6d; Templeton, 23s lid and 17s 2d; Rolleston, 22s 8d and 16s sd; Dunsandel, 20s 5d and 14s 9d; Ralcaia, 17s lid and 13s 2d; Chertsey, 16s lid and 12s sd; Ashburton 14s 5d and 10s These tickets will be issued on 16th and ISth October from Christchurch, Rakaia and Ashburton for the 5.35 a.m. Christchurch-Invercargill express train and from the other stations mentioned for the 7.10 am. TIMARU-ASHBURTON.—UsuaI 4.56 pm. train will leave Timaru 5.14 p.m., Ashburton arrive 7.45 p.m. Makes ' usual stoppages. SATURDAY, ISth OCTOBER. TIMARU-CHRISTCHURCH.
