LABURNUM RETURNS FROM LENGTHY CRUISE.

Per Pres* Association. AUCKLAND, October 9. After spending four months in visiting various groups of islands in the Pacific, H.M.S. Laburnum returned to Auckland to-night. During her cruise she travelled 8500 miles. The islands visited included Tonga, Pago Pago, Penhryn, Tahiti, Rarotonga. Niue, Samoa and Fiji. The cruise was uneventful.
