A lengthy discussion took place oa

the matter o£ inaugurating a senior competition. On account of the strength of the Ashburton Club compared with the.other affiliated clubs, an inter-club competition was considered out of the question. It was finally decided that each of the delegates discuss the matter of forming four teams (irrespective of dubs) with their respective committees.
